About Therapeutic Carers

Up to £475 per placement per week

As someone with over a year's fostering experience, you know how demanding and rewarding the role can be. Now, as part of major investment we're making in improving the lives of children in foster care, we can provide you with better pay and support than we've ever been able to offer before. As a Therapeutic Carer you can look forward to:

• 3 weeks paid respite a year
• Retainer payments
• Access to the Oaktree Resource Centre - providing activities and support to looked after children and Foster Carers
• Access to dedicated health and educational specialists
• Out of hours and emergency support
• Extensive training and career progression opportunities

If you are an approved Foster Carer with a minimum of 12 months fostering experience then we want to hear from you. The ability to take sibling placements would be an advantage but is not essential. Let us tell you more about how you'll be looked after while caring for a local child.
